Asset & Infrastructure Manager Location: Remote with travel (Preference for NYC area) Travel: ~1 week/month Our client is an ambitious, mission-driven energy company at the center of the electric and autonomous vehicle revolution. Asset & Infrastructure Manager
to oversee the performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of their deployed EV and DER infrastructure. If you’re a technical problem solver with strong communication skills and a bias toward action, this is a rare opportunity to join a top-tier team in a critical, high-impact role. What You’ll Do Technical Diagnostics & Operations Support deployment and integration of EV fleets, charging infrastructure, and DERs across customer sites Monitor system health and performance through telematics, data analytics, and site visits Troubleshoot issues across vehicles, chargers, and software platforms — escalating or resolving as needed Conduct system testing and validation to ensure assets meet performance and uptime standards Serve as the technical point of escalation for fleet, energy, and infrastructure issues Performance Monitoring & Optimization Analyze fleet and infrastructure data to uncover trends, minimize downtime, and improve efficiency Report on energy usage, operational KPIs, and environmental metrics to both internal and external stakeholders Proactively identify areas for process improvement or technology upgrades Manage and align cross-functional O&M teams including contractors, OEMs, and software providers Oversee third-party vendors and partners across telematics, maintenance, and charging infrastructure Ensure vendors meet service expectations and compliance requirements Serve as a trusted technical liaison for customers, coordinating updates, deliverables, and resolution plans Ensure all operational standards align with internal quality and safety protocols Team & Systems Building Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to evolve internal processes and offerings Translate field insights and customer feedback into product and service improvements Support company-wide scaling efforts and contribute to a strong, feedback-driven team culture Who You Are: Mindset & Attributes Analytical and curious, able to quickly understand and improve technical systems Proactive and reliable — you don’t let things slip, and you follow through Clear communicator who can explain complex systems to non-technical stakeholders Direct, humble, and team-oriented — you prioritize trust, execution, and continuous learning Energized by the fast pace and ambiguity of a scaling startup 3+ years of experience in O&M or asset management in clean energy, infrastructure, or construction Strong understanding of EV charging systems, solar PV, energy storage, and/or distributed energy Skilled in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and performance optimization for power electronics Experience with telematics, controls, and communication protocols for energy systems Comfortable working with vendors, managing field service efforts, and interfacing with customers Proficient in Excel/Sheets and familiar with project planning and technical documentation Willingness to travel approximately 1 week per month Nice to Have Familiarity with EV fleet analytics and performance dashboards Hands-on electrical experience or licensure (e.g., C-10 or similar) Why This Role You’ll have a front-row seat in transforming how commercial fleets transition to clean, smart, and scalable energy systems.
