Jobright.ai Healthcare Staffing Professionals Inc. is seeking an Information Systems Analyst to support the Children's Medical Services Program. The role involves defining and analyzing requirements, creating functional specifications, and coordinating the implementation of new application systems while performing systems analysis and design. Responsibilities: • Gather and develop user requirements, functional and technical requirements, for new systems and system enhancements. • Analyze complex systems and processes to identify areas for improvement. • Prepare and create test scenarios working directly with user to identify data to be processed; discuss test results; and make recommendations concerning the most efficient solution. • Prepare, review, and validate technical documents and user manuals. • Provide technical support to users. • Installing and configuring software and drivers. • Analyzing data and using reporting tools to develop reports. • Document all work in accordance with departmental standards and procedures. Qualifications: Required: • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field -OR- One (1) year of recent experience in information systems analysis and design in a centralized information technology organization. • A valid California Class C Driver License is required for appointment to some positions in this class. • A bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. • 3 - 5 years of Information Systems Analysis/Technical Support Experience. • Technical experience with installing and troubleshooting software and peripheral devices (i.e., barcode scanner, label printers, signature pads, etc.) • Possess technical support experience. • Technical knowledge of software development methodologies and operating systems. • Experience with EHR systems preferably CERNER. • Experience with gathering and documenting business and technical requirements. • Good communication and time management skills.
