My Life My Choice , a survivor-led program of the Justice Resource Institute working to end the commercial sexual exploitation of children is looking for a
Clinical Supervisor
to support our nationally recognized Survivor Empowerment team! At My Life My Choice we believe that no individual should be bought or sold. Our team provides a range of survivor-led services including survivor mentoring, intensive case management, group work, mental health services, exploitation prevention programming and solutions, and advocacy. Over the past 20 years, we have served more than 3,300 youth and trained more than 21,300 providers in Massachusetts and nationally. The Clinical Supervisor provides direct supervision to up to six Survivor Mentors and helps oversee the mentoring program. Survivor Mentors have lived experience in the commercial sex industry and are trained to provide support to minors impacted by commercial sexual exploitation. Survivor Mentors help mentees find safety, stability, and hope while recovering from this egregious form of child abuse. The Clinical Supervisor reports to the Program Director. Salary:
$70,000 - $78,000 per year Sign-On Bonus:
We offer a $1,000 sign-on bonus after 90 days of employment. In This Role You Will: Provide support and clinical supervision to Survivor Mentors serving adolescent youth of all genders who have been commercially sexually exploited. Oversee all documentation requirements of mentoring staff. Support the development of treatment plans for each mentee/client. Provide on-call and crisis support to mentoring staff. Support and encourage professional growth of Survivor Mentors. Work as part of the Survivor Empowerment Team to ensure programs and staff maintain trauma-informed lens while working to achieve its mission. Provide crisis response for Survivor Mentors, including acting as a liaison to the Department of Children and Families (DCF) as needed and filing 51As. Support the evaluation and monitoring efforts of the Survivor Mentor program by ensuring complete and accurate data collection and documentation. Co-plan and co-lead professional development opportunities for SET. Be an effective ally to survivors of commercial sexual exploitation if that is not part of your own identity. Why JRI? Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling from an accredited college or university required. Must have clinical licensure or be license-eligible (LCSW, LMHC or LICSW). Survivors of sexual exploitation are encouraged to apply. At least two years of experience in supervising direct service and/or clinical staff. Familiarity with and experience supporting vulnerable youth facing complex trauma, including exposure to commercial sexual exploitation. A positive mindset and belief in the possibility of recovery from commercial sexual exploitation for youth of all genders. Demonstrated expertise in coordinating care with human service and healthcare providers. Successful experience in training service providers in both small and large environments.
