Staff VP Specialty Pharma Payor Sales Location: May be located in any PulsePoint office preferably in Indianapolis, IN, Walnut Creek, CA, Denver, CO, Chicago, IL, or Mendota Heights, MN. This role requires associates to be in-office at least 3 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered. Summary Responsible for providing the vision and strategy for building and maintaining payor stakeholder relationships with all pharmacy business managers (“PBMs”), health plans, and employer groups to meet the strategic and profitability goals of the business unit. Position Responsibilities Oversees a sales team responsible for bringing on new opportunities in the pharmacy benefit manager (“PBM”), health plans, and employer space. Develops overall reimbursement strategy to support budget and long-term strategic planning as well as ensures reimbursement alignment with overall financial goals. Monitors changes in the payor landscape and communicates opportunities which enhance the payor book of business. Works closely with internal leadership as well as payors, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and other industry stakeholders. Oversees the development of business review content for payor account management to include payer level key performance indicators related to drug utilization. Oversees the contracting and credentialing teams. Leads as the subject matter resource/liaison for payor strategy. Works with sales and operations with a focus on strategic opportunities. Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports. Position Requirements Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 10 years leadership experience within pharmaceutical, specialty pharmacy, or healthcare industry. Minimum of 5 years in payor sales; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences Experience in developing, leading, and executing strategy for specialty and infusion contracting. For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary range for this specific position is $204,000 to $367,200. Locations: California, Colorado, Minnesota, New York. In addition to your salary, Elevance Health offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
