About the Position:
This position is located at Lyster Army Health Clinic on Fort Novosel, AL. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. Duties
Supervises, manages, plans, and organizes the activities of the patient appointment Center and the Medical Support Assistants (MSAs) throughout the Military Treatment Facility (MTF). Serves as the point of contact for Lyster Army Health Clinic's (LAHC) patient appointments. Acts as the subject matter expert (SME) for all appointing and scheduling policies and procedures. Manages the Composite Health Care System PAS system for the Health Clinic. Monitors online appointment availability to ensure beneficiary access through various scheduling options. Coordinates between the scheduling system, department/division chiefs, clinic service chiefs, and individual providers. Requirements
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. A Personnel Security Investigation is required. A one-year supervisory probationary period is required, especially if the candidate has not previously completed one. Must sign a statement (Condition of Employment) consenting to seasonal influenza vaccinations or provide a recognized exemption. Immunization screening is required. Hepatitis B immunization is mandatory for all positions with direct patient contact. Additional immunizations may be required based on the position.
