Role Snapshot You’ll own the entire engineering stack—front‑end, back‑end, data pipelines, Gen‑AI services, cloud infrastructure, and customer deployments. As our first engineering hire, you’ll set the technical bar, ship production code from day one, and lay the foundations for a world‑class engineering culture. You’ll partner daily with the founding team, product, and customer‑facing teams to turn rapid feedback into working software that delights users. What You’ll Do Architect for scale & security : Design multi‑tenant SaaS on AWS (EKS/Lambda, S3, Dynamo/Postgres, SQS), integrate vector DBs/LLM orchestration, and enforce best‑practice security & privacy controls. Own DevOps : Automate CI/CD, testing, monitoring, IaC (Terraform or AWS CDK), and high‑availability deployments. Accelerate customer pilots : Stand up secure environments, wire data connectors (Git, ITSM, finance, APM, CMDBs), and iterate to production‑ready value in weeks. Collaborate cross‑functionally : Translate product concepts and customer pain points into clear technical roadmaps and pragmatic sprints. Mentor & elevate : Document decisions, establish code quality guidelines, and coach future teammates as the company scales. Ideal Profile 8‑12+ years shipping production SaaS or enterprise software; comfortable owning green‑field architecture. Mastery of modern front‑end (React/Next, TypeScript) and back‑end (Python/Node/Go, micro‑services) stacks. Deep fluency in cloud‑native design on AWS, including security hardening, observability, and cost optimization. Hands‑on success with enterprise integrations (IDP/SAML/OIDC, ITSM, ERP, CMDB, ticketing, data warehouses). Startup mindset: bias to action, comfort with uncertainty, obsessive about shipping value fast. People‑centric leader who has managed or technically led small teams and enjoys rolling up sleeves as an individual contributor. Crystal‑clear communicator—can toggle between boardroom strategy and code‑level detail. Exposure to application‑portfolio management, ITFM, APM, or CMDB domains. Experience building agentic/goal‑oriented AI systems. Familiarity with enterprise security and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
