Want a seat at our table? The Labs Engineering & Operations Manager will be responsible for and lead Ziosk's lab's engineering and operations activities, ensuring availability, performance, and resource management. Responsibilities include providing technical leadership in systems integration, automation, troubleshooting, and project execution.
The Main Course - Responsibilities
Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the labs, including resource allocation and procurement of equipment, supplies, data, and inventory, ensuring they are well-maintained and available for use. Developing and implementing processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy of lab environments for test activities across software delivery, user acceptance, release deployment, troubleshooting, and customer test scenarios Accountable for lab performance, tracking, and issue resolution with urgency and speed to achieve KPIs tied to lab availability and lab environment provisioning speed and accuracy. Designing and implementing lab automation to improve lab performance by applying expert lab engineering and project management skills. Leading system integration efforts, including hardware, cloud, software, integration/API, and network components. Managing integrated work plans, including technical, schedule, and cost aspects Managing budgets and resources for the lab. What You Bring To The Table - Qualifications
Strong understanding of system integration principles and best practices. Experience with hardware, software, cloud, API, and network technologies. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Experience with project management methodologies and tools including, preferably JIRA Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Experience managing budgets and resources.
