Position Overview :
The Laminator is responsible for laminating composite components onto molds to create custom products for various industries, including Motorsports, OEM, and Aerospace. This role requires expertise in handling composite materials, following safety procedures, and producing high-quality custom parts through precise laminating techniques.
Key Responsibilities :
- Handle composite materials safely and follow procedures.
- Hand laminate composite materials, following specifications.
- Prepare components for autoclave curing using vacuum bagging.
- Prepare molds and tooling with sealers and release systems.
- Fabricate molds based on supplied patterns.
- Follow manuals and processes, addressing quality issues with engineers.
- Follow supervisor priorities to maintain workflow and meet deadlines.
- Follow safety policies and report risks.
- Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
- High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent.
- A proactive, "can-do" approach to work with a focus on meeting team goals.
- Strong commitment to punctuality and reliability in attendance.
- Works well with others, communicates effectively, and actively listens to team members and supervisors.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work environments and production schedules.
- Capable of prioritizing tasks, responding to deadlines, and ensuring timely task completion.
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness, continuously looking for ways to improve processes.
- Ability to follow through on commitments and complete tasks on time.
- Works with the team to identify and implement productivity improvements and cost-saving measures.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident in compliance with IAR and EAR regulations

Normal business hours: 1st Shift 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, 2nd Shift 4:00 PM - 1:00 AM; Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends and holidays as scheduled.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Combination of indoor and outdoor activities with varying conditions
- Requires walking, standing, sitting, climbing, balancing, bending, reaching, handling, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
- Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds
- May involve operating material handling equipment in a safe manner
- Work may include exposure to variable noise levels, fumes, airborne particles, hazardous chemicals, etc., requiring personal protective equipment
- Some positions may require working with small parts/components, necessitating excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Specific vision abilities required, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
