Laser Operator Job Description
Position Summary The Laser Operator is responsible for the daily operation of the laser machines including moving necessary materials to and from the machine. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Performs quality checks Completes inspection reports for jobs ran on machine. Must be able to perform, but not limited to, the following tasks: read blue prints, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring equipment Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows all safety regulations. Performs typical laser operations. Troubleshooting quality issues Essential Skills and Knowledge: Ability to follow directions Adaptability Arm-Hand Steadiness Attention to detail Cooperation Control Precision Customer Service Dependability Handling and Moving Objects Interpersonal skills to interact with all team members Manual Dexterity Monitoring Operation and Control Problem Sensitivity Time Management Verbal and Written Communication skills
