Lead Application Systems Analyst - MIS - Development
Lima , OH Clerical / Administrative Full Time , Days , 8:00 am-4:30 pm Posted 07/31/2025 Shift: 8 hour shifts Days: Monday - Friday Hours/Pay Period: 80 hours biweekly Functioning within the Health System’s mission, values, objectives, policies and procedures, the Lead Application Systems Analyst is responsible for the analysis, research, evaluation, and recommendation of proposed computer software. Serves as a consultant, change agent, and facilitator in assessing information system needs. Performs the planning, designing, developing, testing validation, and implementation of software. Develops documentation, designs and presents educational material, and communicates system changes. Leads and manages software update processes and medium to large system development projects. Maintains and optimizes current software. Supports, troubleshoots and resolves complex system application issues. May offer consultation to senior management and often serves as a top-level software expert. Works with minimal to no supervision, Assists in directing the strategic plan and support of complex systems. Serves as mentor to MIS Development staff and assists in orientation and training of new associates. Leads project upgrades with assistance of the Director. Education: Degree in computer science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Licensure/Certification: N/A Experience: Minimum of six (6) years’ experience as a programmer, programmer analyst, or applications systems analyst is required. Skills: The ability to work with a variety of departments and diverse stakeholders is required. Must be analytical, resourceful, detail-oriented, organized, quick and adaptable and possess strong communication and negotiation skills. Must be able to juggle competing demands and deal with interruptions.
