Ensure engineering outputs comply with applicable codes (e.g., IEC, IEEE, NEMA), safety regulations, and client specifications. Mentor and provide technical oversight to junior and intermediate electrical engineers and designers. Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, FATs, and site inspections as needed. Support project management with schedule and cost tracking, progress reporting, and risk identification. Serve as a key point of contact for clients on electrical engineering matters. Develop electrical designs, drawings and schedules including preliminary, schematic, general arrangement, detailed design, tender and construction drawings for a wide range of clients. Ability to lead the preparation of drawings and utilization of CAD aided design software for the creation of single line diagrams, motor schematics and wiring, general arrangements, distribution panels, grounding, lighting, fire alarm, cable raceway and installation design.
