Description The Epic Analytics Developer serves as a reporting resource for the Epic Cogito application and is responsible for building and managing reporting across the enterprise. This individual analyzes, provides specifications for, and writes reports for assigned applications to support the needs of the Epic project team, leadership, and other end users/ stakeholders. This role has responsibility for reporting system support and maintenance, analysis, design, and change control of all components used to build and manage assigned reports, metrics, queries, extracts, dashboards, and other reporting tools. Responsible for validating existing foundation system reports and identifying and producing custom reporting content, optimization, and performance enhancement opportunities. This role contributes to the uncovering of insights that drive improved patient care, quality and efficiency of operations, a data driven strategy, and optimal decision making for leaders across the organization. Qualifications Minimum Work Experience Requires 4 years of related experience in the creation and maintenance of reports and visualizations (Required)

Functional Accountabilities Develop BI solutions architecture that accurately translates business requirements to technology solutions and ensures the design will meet business requirements throughout the lifecycle of a change. Collaborates with stakeholders, including clinicians, administrators, and IT professionals, to understand reporting requirements and translate them into actionable reports within the Epic EHR system. Develop, customize, and maintain Epic reports using tools such as Clarity, Reporting Workbench, Radar Dashboards, and other reporting modules to extract and analyze data for assigned applications within Epic Foundation system. Design and create visually appealing and easy-to-understand reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and metrics. Perform data validation and quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of reports Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or discrepancies in data extraction, transformation, or report generation processes. Collaborate with the Epic team and other stakeholders to optimize and streamline reporting workflows and processes. Stay up to date with the latest Epic reporting functionalities, features, and best practices, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement and innovation. Provides timely and appropriate communication to business owners, stakeholders, and users on issue status and resolution Responsible for providing training and support to end-users, ensuring they can effectively utilize and interpret the reports generated. Document report specifications, data sources, and methodologies to maintain an organized and accessible repository of reporting assets. Contribute to and maintain an organized report and standard definitions library for easy access and reference for stakeholders Comply with all policies and standards.
