you will lead a team for the development, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of a test environment for some of our most visible programs. You will lead highly diverse cross-functional teams composed of contracts, program planning, finance, operations, and engineering to develop next-generation mission critical avionics solutions. You will be a part of
a world-class Engineering Team for the Mission Systems Business Unit, a leading provider of safety-certifiable avionics, mission-critical, and Electronic Warfare solutions. You will be a part of our Platforms Systems organization at Mercury. We design, develop, and produce the next generation of video data processing products ranging from high-definition video recorders to pilot display systems. We are an agile team focused on delivering innovative, high-quality products to our customers on time and on budget. Location: Torrance, CA Alternate Location: Alpharetta, GA Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with 7+ years of experience working in Systems Integration & Test Product development/manufacturing experience in Aviation, Space, Defense, or Commercial Electronics Experience in requirements management and requirement traceability matrix Experience developing design assurance and acceptance test procedures Knowledge of electronic systems/subsystems that consist of software, firmware, and hardware with the end goal of supporting the detailed design and test of these systems Experience in electrical design and schematics and the software development process This position requires you to access information that is subject to U.S. export regulations. You may only access such information if you are a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. government. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Engineering Degree Experience as a technical lead or team leader Knowledge of Model-based Systems Engineering Experience in PXI Chassis/Test Benches highly desired Experience with high-speed memories and interfaces use of test equipment such as vector network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, and high-speed oscilloscopes Experience with Linux Multimedia frameworks such as GStreamer, ALSA and V4L2 Experience with TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP and FTP Knowledge of safety of flight, airworthiness, qualifications - DO-178, DO-254 Experience with System-Design and Test Platforms such as LabView Experience with Scripting languages such as Python Experience with Model Based System Engineering tools such Cameo Experience with Requirements Management tools such as JAMA, DOORS, etc. Experience with Issue Tracking tools such as JIRA Experience with Agile process framework Experience with collaboration tools such as Confluence Additional Information
