What You Will Be Doing
Lead the training and development of a dynamic team of Guides, ensuring they deliver the Alpha learning system with unparalleled excellence. Develop comprehensive Guide Playbooks that outline best practices for facilitation, innovative learning activities, and effective challenge management. Offer continuous, actionable feedback to Guides to enhance student engagement and success. Personally mentor a select group of students, demonstrating expert coaching and motivation techniques.
What You Won’t Be Doing
Crafting traditional lesson plans – your role is to train Guides to facilitate learning through adaptive technology, not to write the lessons themselves. Compromising on standards – you will uphold our 100% passing grade requirement with unwavering commitment. Conducting monotonous training sessions – you'll energize and elevate Guides through dynamic, hands-on development experiences.
Learning And Development Manager Key Responsibilities
Empower and train a team of Guides to deliver the Alpha system's world-class educational excellence.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Minimum of 5 years in education, learning and development, coaching, or related fields. Proven track record in developing and executing innovative educational programs, curricula, or training initiatives. Exceptional leadership and mentorship abilities with a knack for building, managing, and inspiring high-performing teams. Experience with youth (ages 5-18) in educational or developmental settings. Skilled in data analysis and leveraging metrics for informed decision-making and continuous improvement. Commitment to work on-site in Austin, TX, or Plano, TX. Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
Nice-to-have Requirements
Experience with cutting-edge educational technology and adaptive learning platforms.

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
