Reframe Systems is on a mission to build net-zero carbon housing for all, at massive scale. To achieve our mission, we need to make net-zero carbon housing more affordable and we are re-imagining how housing is designed and built. Our modular building platform and highly-automated production system will drive down cost, delivery time, and embodied carbon for ADUs and multifamily housing. We are disrupting assembly line manufacturing for housing production and are backed by leading VC firms in the industrial and construction space. What We're Looking For
We are seeking a Licensed Fire Protection Sprinkler System Contractor to join our team and play a critical role across factory and field operations. This unique position offers the opportunity to work in a controlled factory environment and at project sites, ensuring the seamless installation and integration of fire suppression systems within our modular housing units. You will also contribute to the building design process, providing input on fire suppression layouts, system specifications, and constructability. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong technical skills and a desire to grow their career. Responsibilities
Perform the installation of fire suppression piping and related components in modular housing units within the factory, ensuring all work adheres to design specifications and relevant codes. Collaborate with the design team to review and provide input on project designs, ensuring optimal fire suppression system layouts, material specifications, and constructability for modular application. Be responsible for pulling all necessary permits for fire suppression system installations in both factory and field settings. Execute on-site installation and connection of fire suppression systems during module installation at project locations, ensuring seamless integration and compliance with local codes. Conduct comprehensive testing and inspection of all installed fire suppression systems in the factory to ensure functionality, integrity, and compliance with all applicable standards. Review and provide feedback on shop drawings, digital plans, and system diagrams related to fire suppression. Work closely with production teams, field crews, and other trades to complete projects efficiently and accurately. Ensure all fire suppression work complies with local, state, and national fire codes (e.g., NFPA standards) and Reframe Systems' quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations. Diagnose and resolve any issues related to fire suppression systems both in the factory and in the field. Communicate effectively with supervisors and project managers to address challenges and propose solutions. Basic Qualifications
Valid and current Fire Protection Sprinkler System Contractor License in Massachusetts. 3+ years of progressive experience in fire suppression system installation, preferably in residential or commercial/residential projects. Strong knowledge of fire suppression codes, standards, and regulations, particularly NFPA standards. Proficiency with fire suppression tools, equipment, and testing devices Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and digital plans for fire suppression systems. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work overhead, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Career Growth Opportunities
