Position: Systems Administrator
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Administrator to join our team at Direct Recruit Agency. As a leading recruitment agency, we are constantly growing and expanding our services, and we need a talented individual to help us maintain and improve our IT systems.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain all aspects of our IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software
- Ensure data security and backup procedures are in place and functioning effectively
- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement new technologies and upgrades
- Provide technical support to staff and resolve any user issues in a timely manner
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and make recommendations for improvements
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels
- Create and maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance and identify any potential risks
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing
- Keep track of hardware and software inventory and make recommendations for replacements or upgrades when necessary

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Familiarity with networking and security concepts
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
- Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), CompTIA A+) are a plus
technical lead by providing high level support for all Client Bank critical systems and applications with zero or minimal down time
Oracle (Solaris) and Redhat Linux Virtualizations,
IBM WebSphere (versions from 3.X, 4.x, 5.x, 6, x and 8.X) on both Solaris and Linux,
IBM MQ (versions (from 5.X, 6.X and 9.X) on both Solaris and Linux,
TREP (Thompson Reuters Enterprise Platform), RMDS (Reuters Markets Data System), DACS, Wombat Refinitiv
Storage Provisioning using Client (3PAR) administration
OS and Application Monitoring using FogLight and BMC patrol
Backup using Commvault, Veritas NetBackup (using Symantec appliances).
Server provisioning using Client Opsware.
Users and Server access provisioning using CentrifyDC.
Informatica experience-hands on-installation, what it is/how it runs.
