Base pay range $80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr Additional compensation types Annual Bonus Direct message the job poster from Gotham Technology Group Senior Technical Recruiter at Gotham Technology Group Overview Mid-level technical role responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems. Ensures high availability, performance, security, and compliance with IT policies and industry standards. Key Responsibilities System Administration : Configure and maintain Windows/Linux servers (physical/virtual), manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V). Perform patching, upgrades, and backups. Network Administration : Support routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure. Monitor network security, traffic, and logs, implementing access controls and zero-trust principles. Incident Response : Troubleshoot system/network outages, conduct root cause analysis, and collaborate with vendors for resolutions. Infrastructure Projects : Assist in system upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning to enhance reliability and scalability. Documentation & Compliance : Maintain system/network documentation and ensure compliance with corporate policies, ITIL practices, and audits. Business Continuity : Support disaster recovery planning and testing to meet recovery time objectives. Collaboration : Work with cybersecurity and application teams, mentor junior staff, and participate in on-call rotation. Qualifications Education : Bachelor’s in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience. Certifications (Nice to Have) : Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104), VMware VCP, CCNA, CompTIA Security+, or Linux+/RHCSA. Experience : 3-5 years in systems/network administration in mid-to-large enterprises, with expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization, and hybrid infrastructure (on-prem + Azure/AWS). Technical Skills : Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, VMware, Azure, Microsoft 365, LAN/WAN, Cisco/Fortinet, VPNs, EDR tools, and ITIL workflows. Familiarity with backup, monitoring, and ticketing systems.
