Litigation Paralegal - Casualty & Mass Tort Focus (Houston, TX)
Pay Range: $70,000-$90,000 DOE
EverStaff has partnered with a respected regional law firm with a strong presence in Texas and surrounding areas, currently seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal to join its Houston-based legal team. This opportunity is ideal for someone with experience in casualty and complex tort matters who thrives in a collaborative, high-performance environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting attorneys in all stages of litigation, from case intake to resolution and trial wrap-up
- Preparing legal documents, exhibits, and court filings in state and federal courts
- Drafting and responding to discovery (interrogatories, requests for production, etc.)
- Coordinating and preparing for depositions, mediations, and hearings
- Reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing deposition transcripts and medical records
- Managing case dockets, deadlines, and electronic discovery workflows
- At least 3 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in mass tort or personal injury defense
- Strong understanding of litigation procedures and case lifecycle
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and e-filing systems
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
- A flexible, team-oriented attitude with the ability to multitask under pressure
- Paralegal Certificate strongly preferred; Bachelor's or Associate's degree a plus
