Job Title: CDL A Driver with Basic Mechanic Skills

About the Role
Seattle Choice Transport is looking for a reliable and experienced Class A CDL driver with basic mechanic skills to join our Indianapolis team. This position is ideal for a safety-focused driver who can also assist with light-duty mechanical repairs to help reduce downtime and support fleet readiness.
Key Responsibilities Operate Class A commercial vehicles on local and regional routes. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify and report mechanical issues. Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance tasks such as:
Replacing bulbs, fuses, and windshield wipers
Adjusting airlines and electrical lines Topping off fluids (oil, coolant, DEF, etc.) Greasing fifth wheels and tightening loose components Coordinate with dispatch and the maintenance team to address truck issues promptly. Support on-road performance by helping avoid unnecessary breakdowns.
Schedule and Compensation Full-Time | Day and Night Shifts Available
Pay: $28 per hour
Overtime Available based on performance and operational needs

Requirements
Valid Class A CDL with a clean MVR Minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to assist with minor repairs Must pass DOT physical and drug screening Reliable, self-motivated, and safety-minded
