Job Title: Radiologic Technologists - Angio/Interventionalist
Location: Billings, MT
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift/Schedule: Day
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

Job Description: -
-Maintains up-to-date licensure and certifications required for the position.
-Provides procedural assistance such as circulating tech, scrub tech, or monitoring tech according to Angio lab policies and procedures and the Scope of Practice documents.
-Understands and operates IR equipment and related information systems appropriately to ensure that quality images are produced.
-Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and prepare the patient for the exam.
-Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe working environment for patients and staff.
-Develops specific knowledge about invasive, diagnostic, and interventional supplies, appropriate indications and applications, and proper use and deployment techniques.
-Follows appropriate protocol for medical necessity, coding and charging guidelines, obtaining necessary consents, maintaining applicable QC programs, and reporting any equipment failures or problems.
-Provides appropriate patient education, ensures patient comfort, and addresses patient and/or family concerns.
-Keeps accurate records of patient information, procedures performed, and any adverse reactions or incidents.
-Coordinates patient care and communicate pertinent information to other patient care providers following the procedure.
-At the end of the procedure, sutures the sheath in place or removes the sheath and applies pressure to obtain hemostasis.
-Maintains work area and stocks needed supplies.
-Transports patients as needed.
-Assists with SIRT Mapping/Treatments.
-Assists with Embolization.
-Assists with Neph Tube Placements.
-Assists with Biliary Tube Placements.
-Assists with CT-guided procedures, including drains, biopsies, and ablations.
-Performs Neuro-IR Stroke and Diagnostic procedures.

Required:

One (1) to Two (2) years of vascular or interventional experience.

ARRT (R) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

BCLS - Basic Life Support.

ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.

Preferred Certifications & Licensure:
-Vascular/Interventional Radiography Certification.
-Relevant State Licensure and/or Certifications.
