Job Description Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:30 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years, first timers accepted License: GA or Compact License required at time of submission Certifications: BLS, CNMT, NMTCB, ARRT
Must-Have: Candidate must have experience in an acute care setting. Candidate should be available to work every other weekend unless specified otherwise. Candidate may be required to float between units as necessary. Candidate must be available to work variable call shifts. If one major holiday occurs during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays occur during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work both holidays. If three major holidays occur during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
Description: The position is suited for candidates with a solid understanding of nuclear medicine practices. Candidates will work with various patient populations ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. Full compliance with all requirements is necessary for a timely start. Clinical fit will be determined through a review process. Two supervisory references are highly preferred at the time of submission. RTO (Requested Time Off) must be submitted with the application, and a maximum of 7 days is permitted. If one or two major holidays occur during the assignment, travelers are expected to be available to work the holiday. Candidates need to submit core items and complete necessary labs promptly after signing the contract to ensure an on-time start.
