Safety-Kleen is looking for a Sales and Service Route Driver Trainee to join our team. As a Class B Driver Trainee, you will be trained to operate a Class B box truck, providing vital on-site services for parts washer machines, managing the pick-up of containerized hazardous waste, and promoting our array of products and services along a defined route. Key Responsibilities: Prioritize health and safety by adhering to all practices and policies. Complete daily service schedules, deliveries, and pickups punctually. Manage the exchange of 15- and 30-gallon drums of solutions at customer locations. Accurately complete all necessary documentation and labeling. Identify and generate leads from customers for new products and services. Upsell additional products and services to existing customers. Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations during operations. Safely operate vehicles following U.S. DOT and other regulatory requirements. Adhere to all corporate operating guidelines and safety procedures. Qualifications: Willingness to obtain a CDL B within 180 days of employment (funded by the company). Able to secure Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 30 days of receiving your CDL B. Self-motivated with strong time management skills. Basic math and computer skills are required. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem-solving abilities. Physical capacity to meet job requirements. Pass a background check, drug test, and physical examination as per position requirements. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated customer service skills.
