GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Western Sierra Medical Clinic is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant for our Kings Beach location. The NP/PA will provide general and preventative care, conduct check-ups, treat illnesses, order lab tests, and prescribe medication for children and adults. The successful candidate will identify the needs of the patient or their family through thorough evaluation and exceptional communication. They will work with the patient and their family to determine appropriate treatment plans and will refer to other health professionals and community agencies. The NP/PA will provide patient and family education on a variety of health topics.

Nestled in the Sierra Nevada region, Western Sierra Medical Clinic offers quality medical, behavioral health, and dental services and has an onsite pharmacy and lab for physician and patient conveniences. Western Sierra Medical Clinic started in 1975 as a small clinic in Downieville to serve the small town’s residents and tourists visiting the region. Since then, Western Sierra Medical Clinic has expanded its services and service area with locations across the Nevada, Placer, Sierra, and Yuba counties.
Living in Kings Beach/Tahoe
Kings Beach is a small beach town on the western side of Lake Tahoe. It is located between Tahoe City and Incline Village with easy access to Lake Tahoe. Working in Kings Beach offers the unique opportunity to enjoy your lunch on the beach or take a stroll through some of the fun boutiques and mom-and-pop shops along the main strip. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the many winter and summer activities available from snowboarding/skiing at the nearby resorts, hiking or biking, or boating on the lake. Kings Beach is about an hour from South Lake Tahoe and Reno and just two hours from Sacramento.
