Position Summary The National Account Manager is at the heart of ofi’s purpose to “Be the Change for Good Food and a Healthy Future.” The role involves establishing and executing business and sales strategies for specific accounts, notably managing and growing our strategic relationship with
US Foods , a leading National foodservice distributor. The position is based in the
Chicagoland Area
and requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet client needs while delivering innovative solutions. Responsibilities include: Managing existing relationships with US Foods and collaborating with their Category Teams to grow volume and profitability. Developing and implementing joint business plans and strategic initiatives. Working closely with US Foods to develop tailored customer solutions and innovative strategies. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within US Foods. Tracking and reporting on new business development and sales progress weekly. Building and maintaining relationships within US Foods, including key decision-makers. Conducting regular business reviews to identify growth opportunities and resolve challenges. Providing accurate sales forecasts and updates to leadership. Overseeing private label product portfolios. Collaborating with internal teams for efficient client service. Reporting on client performance and market intelligence. Facilitating contract negotiations and managing broker relationships. Exploring cross-platform opportunities and ensuring health & safety compliance. Requirements include: A Business Degree or related, with 5-10 years of Foodservice sales experience. Experience working with Broadline Distributors in Foodservice. Deep category knowledge and strong prospecting skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to travel 20-25%. The pay range in Illinois is $112,000 - $150,000, based on experience and qualifications.
