Job Summary Seeking a highly analytical and technically proficient Cryptanalytic Computer Scientist Role involves developing tools and methods to analyze, exploit, and break modern encryption schemes to support national security objectives Candidates must have a strong foundation in computer science, cryptography, and mathematics, along with the creativity and persistence to solve hard technical problems Primary Responsibilities Perform anlytics maintenance and development Conduct cryptanalysis of encrypted communications, protocols, and data at rest Develop and implement software tools to assist in the identification, analysis, and exploitation of encrypted or encoded information Collaborate with mathematicians, engineers, and intelligence analysts to create custom solutions Reverse-engineer proprietary or adversarial cryptographic systems and algorithms Apply statistical, machine learning, and algorithmic methods to extract useful data from protected signals Required Qualifications Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph Bachelor’s Degree with 1 year of relevant experience, Associates degree with 3 years of experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position Degree must be in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, a Physical Science, or a related technical field Ability to use python to automate workflows and processes Experience with C++ Familiarity with customer toolsets and dataflow Ability to develop tradecraft focused on new and existing technologies Generalized idea of networking concepts Desired Qualifications No desired qualifications listed at this time Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications. The pay range for this role is: 80,000 - 110,000 USD per year (Ft. Meade MD)
