Pridestaff is looking for a skilled machine operator for a digital printing machine for our client in Erlanger, KY. The schedule is Mon-Fri, 6am-2:30pm. Pay starts at $18-$19hr (temp-to-hire). Duties and responsibilities include: Support, foster, promote, and demonstrate the client's core values: Whatever It Takes, Open To Change, High Standards, and Think Like A Customer. Able to run a digital printing machine. Ability to read and understand all safety requirements. Ability to start and basic troubleshooting. Ability to read a work order and prioritize order flow. Ability to load vinyl rolls onto the tension arms and make all adjustments to achieve correct application. Understand vinyl roll placement for various roll sizes. Ability to complete changeovers for all profile types. Ability to complete low-level maintenance on the machines
changing rollers, drive wheels, etc. Ability to act quickly, cut vinyl, and stop glue application process once appropriate treads have been completed. Ability to complete operator PM's (preventative maintenance). Understand general housekeeping and 5s of area. Will be required to learn vinyl tracking/inventory. Basic understanding of air pressure setting. Able to identify quality defects while the machine is running. Other duties as assigned. Required skills/experience include: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production/manufacturing environment. Printing experience Able to think and act independently. Quality assurance Hazmat Attention to detail Mechanically inclined. Ability to work and problem-solve. 5s/lean projects. Ability to read and write English. Basic computer skills along with knowledge of Excel. Experience with woodworking tools is preferred. Academic/educational requirements include: High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience. Working conditions include: Must be able to move throughout all plant areas as required to perform duties. Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. Ability to work in varying temperatures inside the facility. Must be able to work overtime as needed. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to spend 100% of the time on the production floor in a manufacturing environment. Training: The individual selected for this position will go through a 2-week training program with the production manager to learn all required knowledge to run the machines successfully. At the end of the 2-week training period, their skills will be reviewed and signed off on their OJT. Compensation/pay rate (up to): $18.00 - $19.00
