We are looking for a
Senior COBOL & RPG Developer
to join our mainframe modernization team, with a focus on
supporting cloud-native development teams
during the migration of legacy systems to modern platforms. You will play a
critical liaison role , bringing deep expertise in COBOL, RPG, JCL, and related mainframe technologies to help cloud engineers interpret, understand, and replatform complex business logic and batch processes.
This is a highly collaborative role, ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of legacy and modern technology stacks.
Qualifications
Exposure to cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP) and modern technologies like microservices, APIs, or event-driven architectures. Experience in hybrid teams involving legacy and cloud modernization. Familiarity with API integration, batch-to-stream conversion, or legacy wrapper patterns. Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Pay Range: $130,000 - $180,000
The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
