Manager, Data Management & Analytics
Are you passionate about turning complex data into actionable business insights? As the
Manager of Data Management & Analytics , you'll lead the team responsible for collecting, processing, modeling, and analyzing data across the organization. In this role, you'll partner with leaders from every corner of the company to support and drive data-informed decision-making.
You'll oversee the full analytics lifecycle-from intake and validation through modeling and visualization-while building a high-performing team and data environment that's accurate, scalable, and future-ready.
What You'll Do: Lead strategic, cross-functional projects to uncover insights and optimization opportunities through advanced analytics. Build and maintain data models, automation tools, dashboards, and reporting systems that enable data-driven decisions. Design and refine data processes that address real business challenges. Deliver compelling insights through reports that evaluate key operations, performance metrics, and business functions. Manage, mentor, and develop a team of data analysts and data engineers. Establish and enforce data quality standards and reporting protocols. Oversee all data and reporting requests: tracking, prioritizing, and ensuring timely delivery. Interpret and present analytical results to senior stakeholders across departments including Technology, Sales, Product, and Marketing. Forecast future needs around people, tools, and processes-and build proactive solutions. Drive initiatives to completion with clear communication, thoughtful prioritization, and team collaboration. What You Bring:
Expertise in data mining, predictive analytics, data visualization, and multi-source integration (on-prem and cloud). Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries (T-SQL, PL/SQL, DB2 SQL). Experience using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Excel) to build reports and dashboards. Advanced statistical modeling skills: GLM, logistic regression, variable selection, etc. Proficiency with Python scripting for data manipulation and automation. Experience managing a team and multiple complex projects simultaneously. Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. Preferred Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 5+ years of experience in data analysis, management, or business intelligence. Leadership:
3+ years managing data analysts or engineering teams. Technical:
7+ years of SQL experience. 7+ years working with BI tools (Tableau/Excel). 3+ years of Python scripting experience. Experience with cloud-based platforms such as Databricks.
Industry:
Prior experience in
property & casualty insurance
is a strong plus.
