Supply Chain & Manufacturing Application Services - IT Business Consultant Purpose: Sylvamos IT Enterprise Application Services organization is responsible for designing, building, implementing, and supporting an Enterprise Supply Chain solution to improve customer satisfaction and reduce costs. The team manages Commercial Excellence, Finance & Sourcing, Supply Chain & Manufacturing, HR & EHS, and Application Development. The IT Business Consultant will work in a lean team environment to recommend and deliver technology solutions in SAP, covering Supply Chain (Planning and Order to Invoice) and Manufacturing Execution System, including third-party integrations. Applications include SAP APO, ECC, BW, MES, and third-party tools like Loftware and Load Xpert. Responsibilities involve managing vendor relations, supporting enhancements, projects, documentation, and application support. The role requires configuration experience and knowledge of Supply Chain and Manufacturing processes, with familiarity in SAP APO DP/S&OP/PPDS, SAP ECC SD/PP/CO/PM, and integration with third-party applications. Leadership skills are essential to organize, facilitate, and lead design, build, testing activities, and manage vendor relations. Key Accountabilities: Manage vendor relations and support application enhancements and projects Estimate project deliverables and coordinate across teams Lead design discussions and project phases, possibly serving as an IT project manager Conduct process improvements and functional design for Supply Chain and Manufacturing Analyze business requirements and translate into technical specifications Perform SAP and MES configuration and testing Support existing processes and documentation Lead and participate in project meetings and go-live support Maintain support documentation and serve as SME People management and development, customer relationship management, and operational excellence are also key aspects of this role.
