Primary Function of Position This position is seeking a creative, statistical and flexible individual with mastery of planning and material master and how it controls MRP signals. This position will support ECO cutovers and drive material, and actions required to meet ECO dates and E&O goals. The candidate will work with multiple cross-functional teams such as Manufacturing, Supply chain, IT and Engineering teams to achieve both tactical and strategic goals by fully understanding production demand and supply needs. Balancing operational goals while incorporating Lean Manufacturing principals and identify and coordinate issue resolution and continuous improvement opportunities. This position requires strong presentation and clear communication abilities. Essential Job Duties Coordinate release of ECOs to ensure minimal impact on cutover, E&O risk avoidance, financial accountability for material planning across multiple BU's MCF's in the MSRB forum into the SOE Audit Material Master settings to ensure aligned to set parameters as need to maintain alignment to BU DOP and specs. Ensuring MRP Stability and weekly MRP churns and cleanups Allocation of shared component material across factories based off changing demand and supply priorities Ensure that component level material resource availabilities are consistent with production schedules
running what if simulations Coordinating with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage, Kanban bin sizing, material presentation to the line and material protection Coordinating with other departments regarding APM management across all use cases Single point of contact for their business unit, representing planning function at IPR and CCB meetings, coordinate with PMO, R&D and ME on introduction of new materials, material planning for part revision changes. Manage SAP PPDS/MDG configuration by working with appropriate SMEs and stakeholders through ERP change record process. SIOP and amend related material scenario planning to proactively identify supply constraints Root cause identification, implementation of corrective actions for systemic issues that affect material inventory health and cause it to enter exception zone (below LCL, SS etc) Audit and governance of yield and scrap settings for FG and raw materials. Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience Experience with MRP and SAP software Strong negotiation and forecasting/analytics skills Understanding of Change Control process Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects successfully. Required Education and Training Minimum 10 years of experience in a progressive manufacturing environment, 4-year degree preferred in Business Management, Logistics or Engineering. Working Conditions none Preferred Skills and Experience This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the organization. APICS & Six Sigma certifications a plus.
