Job Opportunity
We are currently hiring for several open forklift positions for 1st and 2nd shifts. This is a temp-to-hire possibility at a distribution facility. Eligible candidate must have recent reach truck and sit down forklift experience, stable work history, and available to work overtime. Material Handler Compensation & Hours: 1st Shift: Monday to Friday, 5:30am to 2pm ($19.50 an hour) Overtime: starting as early as 3am with potential Saturdays 2nd Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:30pm to 11pm ($21.45 an hour) Overtime: ending as late as 3am with potential Saturdays Material Handler Skills & Qualifications: Recent reach truck and sit down forklift experience required Ability to learn and follow work instructions Great attitude and attendance is crucial Work in a fast-paced environment Material Handler Duties & Responsibilities: Collect merchandise from the warehouse distribution center and safely transport materials Receive and document warehouse merchandise for delivery or return Keep an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse Identify any missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor Ensure that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping Scan labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination Pick and pack orders by hand Benefits Offered by Wood Personnel: Paid Holiday days Paid Vacation days Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Life Insurance Vision Insurance Direct Deposit or Payroll Card Employee Referral Bonus
