Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Configuration Management Plans and procedures
- Establish and manage baselines (functional, allocated, and product)
- Manage and control engineering changes through Change Control Boards (CCBs)
- Maintain and audit Bill of Materials (BOMs), Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), and technical documentation
- Support product lifecycle activities from concept through sustainment
- Interface with engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, supply chain, and program management teams
- Manage configuration control databases and Product Data Management (PDM) systems (e.g., SolidWorks PDM, Windchill)
- Conduct configuration audits (Functional Configuration Audit, Physical Configuration Audit)
- Ensure configuration records are accurate and up to date for customer delivery and regulatory compliance
- 2+ years of experience in Configuration Management within aerospace or defense industry preferred
- Associate's degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent
- Working knowledge of configuration management standards (e.g., MIL-STD-973, EIA-649)
- Experience with PLM/PDM systems (e.g. Enovia, SolidWorks PDM, Windchill)
- Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git, SVN) and document control systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- This position requires either a US person or a non-US person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- Strong knowledge of Costpoint ERP system and/or other ERP systems
- Understanding of PLM systems for Engineering CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor and AutoCAD files
- Mechanical design using 3D solid modeling tools
- Knowledge of Mil, ASTM, ASME, IAW and other standards
- Ability to multi-task and successfully manage multiple projects
- Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards
- Background in systems engineering or configuration management
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours per day)
- Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and mouse
- Occasional lifting of objects up to 25 pounds
- Visual acuity to read detailed technical drawings and computer screens
- Ability to move around in a manufacturing or lab environment
Compensation Information
Base Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 USD (Annually)
Please note, this is the expected compensation however, ESCO Maritime Solutions considers many factors in determining compensation prior to office, such as: responsibilities and scope of role, candidate's work experience and education related to position, applicable certifications or trainings, business and market conditions.
