ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a Mechanical Methods and Validation Engineer for our client in the Nuclear Energy industry!
X Work with testing and methods teams to support design of tests for validating mechanical analysis methods
X Develop pretest predictions, benchmark test data, and oversee validation tests to determine acceptability of test data in real time
X Document validation benchmarks in reports to support methods validation
Support methods development work with uncertainty quantification
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
X B.S. or Masters in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent
X 10+ years professional mechanical analysis experience using hand calculations and finite element methods
X Extensive experience with mechanical testing for validating analysis methods, including experience with test instrumentation
