Imaging Modality Supervisor
to join our team at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.
As an Imaging Modality Supervisor, you will oversee the operational, personnel, and financial activities of the department section, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and MedStar Georgetown's policies, procedures, and standards.

Primary Duties:
Coordinate technical and patient care activities for the modality under the supervision of the Modality Operations Director. Evaluate all technical functions related to the section's operation.
Oversee and assign duties, monitor activities, and ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards. Participate in performance improvement, patient satisfaction, and quality assurance activities. Assist with human resource functions such as scheduling, coaching, and evaluating staff.
Facilitate staff education by participating in orientation, identifying educational needs, and coordinating training. Manage inventory to ensure adequate supplies within budget, including inventory cycle counting and re-stocking.
Assist with new product evaluation, procurement, establishing par levels, and training. Monitor operational budgets by managing inventory and labor. Report on inventory surplus, returns, and damages.
Monitor compliance of technical workflows involving RIS, ERS, and EMR systems. Uphold SPIRIT values and participate in patient safety standards, holding staff accountable for standards adherence.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiology.
At least 3 years of related experience in diagnostic radiology and additional experience in another radiology modality.
ARRT certification.
CPR certification.
Advanced certification in a supervision modality (e.g., VI, CI, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, MRI, Sonography, CT, QM, Bone Density).
IV and/or PICC certification, depending on supervision area.
This position offers a hiring range of $41.98 - $75.62 per hour.
