Our client in Fort Worth, Texas, is seeking a full-time Medical Laboratory Scientist II to join its Core Lab team. Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift
Key Responsibilities Perform and monitor a wide range of laboratory tests aligned with department standards and regulatory guidelines Accurately report test results in a timely manner, supporting patient diagnosis and treatment Conduct instrument calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting independently Follow strict quality control, safety, and infection prevention procedures Maintain adequate lab inventory and manage supplies efficiently Foster strong communication with lab peers, clinical teams, and external partners Support education and training of new team members and students
Minimum Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field; or 4+ years of qualifying lab experience Experience:
At least2 years of Core Lab experience in a high-volume clinical setting strongly preferred Certification:
Must hold a valid certification from at least one of the following: American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) American Medical Technologists (AMT) American Association of Bioanalysts (AAB) American Board of Histocompatibility (ABHI) Grandfathered HEW licensee also accepted Additional accepted credentials: CLS, MT, MLS, SCT, SCYM, SMB, CHS-ABHI, CHT-ABHI Solid understanding of clinical lab protocols, equipment, and information systems Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and in team environments
