Description
Performs laboratory analyses in an accurate, timely, courteous and effective manner to support comprehensive patient care. In certain entities (BOS Urgent Cares), Lab Techs will be required to support the TEAM CARE Model to ensure patient workflow efficiencies are met, and patient satisfaction goals achieved. Estimated pay range for this position is $30.74 - $39.96 / hour depending on experience.
Qualifications
Degrees:
Associates.
Licenses & Certifications
Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
Additional Qualifications
Associate Degree in Medical Technology or related science or equivalent education as required by the State of Florida. Bachelor‘s degree preferred. State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist License or Temporary Clinical Laboratory License in appropriate discipline(s). Complete knowledge of laboratory medical technology theory and practice. Certain entities (BOS Urgent Cares) will require BLS certification.
Additional Information About The Role
Med Techs are trained in all areas we perform at MCI Main which include Chemistry, Hematology, and Blood Bank. We have off-sites in which you may be rotated to help cover call outs or PTO/vacation coverage. MCI Broward MCI Benign MCI Doral (Med Tech will need to perform Phlebotomy) MCI Keeley (Future 2026)
