Join to apply for the Medical Technologist - Metairie ED (Night Shift 7-on/7-off) role at LCMC Health . This job involves performing clinical laboratory testing of blood and body fluids, evaluating and reporting data for diagnosis and treatment, and operating laboratory equipment. Responsibilities include: Ensuring specimen acceptability and proper processing. Following safety and infection control policies. Handling hazardous materials safely. Operating, calibrating, and troubleshooting laboratory instruments. Performing high complexity testing accurately and timely. Maintaining quality control and documentation. Training and orienting new personnel as needed. Qualifications: BS Degree in Medical Lab Science preferred; successful completion of NAACLS Accredited Program preferred. Licensure as Clinical Lab Generalist or Specialist by Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners. Preferred ASCP Board certification. Work Details: Shift: Nights (7-on/7-off).
