Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Microsoft 365 Administrator to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our Microsoft 365 environment to ensure seamless and efficient business operations. This role requires strong project management skills, including workload balancing and meticulous detail management. Excellent communication skills are essential for effective collaboration and clear communication with supervisors. You must thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and projects with agility and precision.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage projects related to the implementation and optimization of Microsoft 365 services, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
Implement and administer Microsoft Copilot and Microsoft Purview, focusing on securing the data estate and ensuring proper governance.
Collaborate with IT team members to plan and execute system upgrades, migrations, and integrations, including developing project plans and resource allocation.
Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and policies.
Create workflows to facilitate administrative tasks for the Service Desk.
Balance workloads and manage project details to ensure accurate and efficient completion of tasks.
Manage and maintain the Microsoft 365 environment, including Entra ID, Intune, Purview, Defender XDR, Power Platform, and Defender for Cloud.
Manage security protocols such as DLP, MFA, data labeling, and conditional access policies.
Perform routine administrative tasks including device configuration, vulnerability management, mail flow configuration, and security compliance.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality and uptime.
Stay updated with Microsoft 365 updates and best practices to maintain a secure and efficient environment.
Assist with disaster recovery tabletop exercises.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
At least 3 years of experience administering Microsoft 365 environments.
Proven project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, including Entra ID, Intune, Purview, Defender XDR, Power Platform, and Defender for Cloud.
Experience with Microsoft 365 security and compliance features such as DLP, MFA, data labeling, and conditional access.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for team support and training.
Relevant certifications like Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals are a plus.

Wage range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience.
