Type of contract: Type of contract: Full-time, Permanent Experience level: Professionals Remote work: Hybrid Job field: Job field: IT Status: Status: Ongoing recruitment, entry date flexible Apply now and advance your career with a job that challenges you and offers many extras Lead solution architecture for Finance and Controlling within Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, designing scalable, compliant, and business-aligned financial systems Design and implement end-to-end finance processes, including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, budgeting, cost accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements, define future-state processes, and translate them into functional D365 solutions Create solution documentation such as blueprints and functional specifications, while guiding configuration and customization in line with best practices Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, data migration specialists, technical architects, and integration partners to ensure cohesive delivery Drive finance transformation and process optimization, ensuring compliance with IFRS, HGB, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives Stay ahead of trends and technologies, leveraging Microsoft’s roadmap, Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate), and emerging innovations like AI and automation Your profile
University degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field Extensive ERP experience, including 5+ years with Dynamics AX / D365 F&O Finance modules, with strong knowledge of finance processes and the Dynamics F&O data model Proficiency in tools such as Power BI, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft Lifecycle Services (LCS), with experience integrating D365 F&O with external systems (e.g., banking, tax, and reporting platforms) Strong expertise in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and managing multi-country finance operations, including familiarity with localization requirements in the US and Europe Demonstrated ability to work effectively with external partners and vendors throughout the implementation lifecycle Experience in intercultural environments, particularly working with teams or partners in Asia, is considered a plus Fluency in English and German, with excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills We at thyssenkrupp Materials Services, Business Unit Solutions, are a highly global, diverse and dynamic team working in a challenging but exciting industry.
