A law firm seeks a mid-level associate for its Banking group in Chicago, Illinois. The ideal candidate will have experience in general finance, including drafting and negotiating commitment papers, security agreements, credit agreements, and other loan documents, along with UCC and general corporate experience.
Duties
Draft and negotiate commitment papers and security agreements. Prepare and review credit agreements and loan documents. Requirements
Experience in general finance and corporate law. Proficiency in drafting and negotiating legal documents. Familiarity with UCC regulations. High level of academic achievement preferred. Solid law firm experience preferred. Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree required. Certifications
Licensed to practice law in Illinois. Skills
Strong analytical and negotiation skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Participation in an enhanced mentor program.
