They are seeking an Application Developer specializing in Guidewire Jutro to build and maintain customer-facing applications while collaborating with various teams to ensure high-quality digital experiences. Responsibilities: • Develop responsive, accessible, and high-performance UIs using Guidewire Jutro (React-based framework). • Collaborate with UX designers, product owners, and back-end developers to deliver full-stack digital solutions. • Build and maintain reusable Jutro components, ensuring consistency with enterprise design systems. • Participate in solution design, including technical architecture, integration patterns, and security compliance. • Ensure high-quality code through reviews, test automation, and CI/CD practices. • Support digital product rollouts, enhancements, and incident resolution. • Mentor junior developers and support ongoing improvements in coding standards and development processes. Qualifications: Required: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field • 5+ years of experience in front-end or full-stack software development • 2+ years working with Guidewire Digital applications (e.g., CustomerEngage, ProducerEngage) • Hands-on experience with Guidewire Jutro framework • Experience integrating with Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter Preferred: • Experience with Guidewire Cloud platform and edge APIs • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and modern source control tools • Strong understanding of component-based architecture and state management • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially in Azure DevOps • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams • Exposure to microservices, API gateways (e.g., Azure APIM), and cloud-native architectures • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile team environment with evolving requirements Company: Munich Re is an insurance company that provides reinsurance, insurance, and risk solutions.
