Overview
Develop plans, sections, schedules, details, controls, cost estimates, and specifications for mechanical systems. Engineering Design Analysis:
Conduct mechanical system selection, energy and life cycle cost analysis, and ensure designs meet energy and sustainable design targets. Team Engagement:
.Coordinate with other disciplines and project stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. Technical Expertise:
Develop control strategies, calculations, system concepts, layouts, and designs. Mentorship:
Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical support to junior engineers and staff members, fostering their professional growth. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's degree ). Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Maryland or the ability to obtain one. 10-15 years of experience in mechanical engineering. Proficiency in industry software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and energy modeling software. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, team members, and stakeholders. Must be a US Skills and Qualifications: Proficient knowledge of a variety of mechanical system designs, including DX packaged systems, hydronic systems, chilled water plants, heating water plants, and plumbing. Familiarity with relevant codes and guidelines. Experience in sustainable design practices. Excellent interdisciplinary coordination skills. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
