Overview i3 is seeking a Mid-Level Network Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a thorough knowledge of network architecture, configuration, implementation, and support. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment on enterprise projects is essential. Knowledge of Tactical networks and communication systems is a plus. Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain LAN and WAN hardware (switches, routers, firewalls, primarily Cisco hardware). Design, maintain, and document network solutions. Maintain strong knowledge of network protocols. Develop network access controls and policies to secure networks, aligning with DISA STIGs. Ensure system security in compliance with Army and customer policies. Understand network security devices and interpret their output. Ensure reliable backup and recovery from circuit and hardware outages. Provide network performance statistics, reports, and recommendations for improvements. Apply firmware and software patches as required. Perform other hardware and software tasks as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related discipline preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of related experience. CCNA certification. Security+ or comparable certification, or ability to achieve 8570/8140 compliance within 60 days. Experience with Cisco IOS installation, maintenance, and STIG management at advanced configuration and troubleshooting levels. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Cisco Catalyst Center experience is desirable. Ability to obtain and maintain a full Secret clearance; active Secret clearance preferred.
