PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a skilled GNC Engineer to support a long-term contract opportunity with a leading aerospace and defense company. This position offers the chance to work on advanced missile guidance, navigation, and control systems for mission-critical programs. The selected candidate will contribute to high-fidelity simulation, flight code development, and system evaluation in a classified environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with at least 2 years of experience, or Master's degree with 1 year of experience, or PhD with 0 years of experience Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance (in-scope) Experience with autopilot design for guided missile systems Strong proficiency in C++ development in a Linux environment Proficiency in MATLAB and Python for modeling and simulation Experience developing and maintaining 6-DOF (Six Degrees of Freedom) flight simulation models Familiarity with guidance and navigation algorithms used in missile systems Ability to travel up to 10% of the time Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with polygraph as required Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
Experience with hypersonic missile systems Familiarity with the AEGIS Weapon System Experience in IR discrimination and target tracking Working knowledge of international defense collaborations and workshare Exposure to interface documentation (ICDs, IRSs, IDDs) Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and validate complex 6DOF missile flight simulators Implement GN&C algorithms for missile systems Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in simulation toolchain development Support weekly and monthly program meetings, including with international partners Review and maintain interface documentation and simulation requirements
