Summit Technologies is looking for a mission planning Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support USAF mission planning activities at our Hill AFB operating location.
Responsibilities
A candidate hired to this position will require exceptional leadership and organizational skills to manage this work force successfully and effectively. As a SME, the candidate will be responsible for establishing subject matter expertise in USAF mission planning software, to include validation of installation instructions, support fielding efforts, and troubleshooting/reporting of problems. The SME position is responsible for supporting our System Support Representatives (SSRs) in the field, in their efforts in deploying, updating, and maintaining mission planning hardware and software at the base level.
Minimum Education, Skills, and Experience Requirements
- Proven leadership skills.
- Knowledge of USAF mission planning processes/software highly desired.
- Knowledge of DoD and USAF IT highly desired.
- Must have a minimum of a TS/SCI DoD security clearance.
- CompTIA Security + certification within 3 months from date of hire to reach a minimum of DoD8570 Level IAT Level II
- Bachelor's Degree desired. Experience may be substituted for education requirements.
