Mold Maker
Repair injection molds to efficiently meet production needs Provide support to new manufacturing business Assembly and disassembly of all components required in mold manufacturing process Set up and operate tool room equipment, including manual and/or CNC Subcontract to vendors providing the required information in concurrence with mold manufacturing managers Support other mold manufacturers, apprentices, and engineers Repair and revise molds and secondary tooling Troubleshoot mold problems and help keep production molds in efficient operating condition Troubleshoot and assemble manifold system Maintain tools so they stay in correct working order Minor maintenance on machines in tool room Help keep tooling area clean and organized Participate in the design and improvement of new mold builds and improvements on existing tools One or more of the following: Three (3) or more years of experience in a toolmaker or Mold Maker role in an injection molding environment Completion of a Toolmaker OR Mold Maker apprenticeship program Three (3) or more years of experience at a journeymen level in a Toolmaker OR Mold Maker position Associate/ Technical degree in machine tooling (EDM, CNC, Milling/Lathe) SAP experience At Koch, employees are empowered to do what they do best to make life better.
