Fort HealthCare is a patient-centered hospital and healthcare system serving individuals, businesses and families in Jefferson, Dane, and Walworth Counties, and we are seeking a CNA Monitor Tech to join our Inpatient Services team.
Shift:
40 hours per bi-weekly pay period
Part time

This position can work in the capacity of a Health Unit Coordinator or a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Responsibilities of this position include:
- Assists patient in activities of daily living including personal hygiene, oral care, eating, dressing, ambulating, turning, and transferring patient with altered/low mobility using safe patient handling equipment and practices, while maintaining a safe environment.
- Prints, measures, and interprets rhythms for those patients who are on a heart monitor.
- Serves as a link between patients, staff, providers, ancillary departments, and nursing staff.
- Orders and monitors supplies, assists with inventory, and other clerical duties per the needs of the department.
- Maintains patient records in accordance with the status of the patient while working with computers efficiently and accurately.
- Schedules appointments, as per department needs, and assists with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Answers phones, communicates with patients, families, and staff, and facilitates communication between units.
- Reports concerns, data, and abnormal findings to the RN.
- Performs patient rounding per department guidelines and responds to call lights/patient concerns in a prompt manner.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Successful completion of skills inventory within orientation period
- Nursing assistant certification from the State of Wisconsin upon hire; CPR certification; must be on Wis. Nurse Aide registry required
