Job Description:
Programmer must be capable of generating NC route programs, adjusted (or scaled) drill programs and other NC programs e.g. scoring programs from customer supplied electronic data, edited production data from CAM, fabrication drawings, other written instructions, and information, tooling instructions from Planning, information from manufacturing departments in conjunction with current manufacturing guidelines and standards to fabricate printed circuit boards. Technical knowledge of Genesis tooling software and manufacturing process steps related to fabrication/routing methodologies and current capabilities is required for the job. A high degree of attention to detail and a superior quality work ethic are essential.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of this job include: Updating existing CAD designs and deploying them to the production floor.
Execute new orders given by supervisor and/or through departmental priority list
Read, understand and interpret lead sheets, prints and order specifications to process order
Generate CNC rout and drill programs using Genesis software
Provide support for manufacturing fabrication and drill depts
Provide support for production and process engineering personnel
Process ECN's and other fabrication documents
Transfer data into network drives
Resolve any and all order issues as they arise
Communicate with supervisor and managers regarding any and all technical issues
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
Working knowledge of PCB
Familiarity with Genesis software & Windows 10
Excellent computer skills
Basic math skills
Ability to read and decipher PWB fabrication blue prints
Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
Education and Experience:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Required Experience:
1 to 3 years of manufacturing experience required, within the PCB industry preferred
Work Schedule:
8 hour shift, 5:30am-2:00pm
Monday through Friday and every Sunday.
Day off: Saturday.
