Valence Surface Technologies is a full-service surface finishing company specializing in the commercial aerospace, defense, space and satellite industries. With ten strategically located sites across the United States, Valence provides a start to finish solution from NDT and chemical processing, to paint and sub-assembly.Position Summary:Responsible for performing non-destructive testing on aerospace components to ensure they meet industry standards and safety regulations, requiring an eye for detail, strong technical skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards.ResponsibilitiesConduct non-destructive testing (NDT) using various methods such as ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, and dye penetrant testing.Interpret and evaluate test results in accordance with applicable standards and specifications.Document and report findings accurately and comprehensively.Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to address any identified issues.Maintain and calibrate NDT equipment to ensure optimal performance.Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations at all times.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and efficiency.Perform other related duties as assigned. QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in NDT preferred.Minimum of 2 years of experience in non-destructive testing, preferably in the aerospace industry.Proficiency in NDT methods.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.Export Compliance RequirementThis position requires access to EAR or ITAR controlled technologies.
