A New York-based asset management firm specializing in structured credit is seeking a Management Company Accountant. The role supports the firm's accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting and contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist with month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations in QuickBooks and EAS Prepare quarterly standalone and consolidated financial statements Manage the invoice payment process from receipt to settlement, ensuring accuracy and compliance Liaise with vendors to resolve billing inquiries, maintain contracts, and manage user lists Utilize the firm’s expense management system to generate and analyze internal financial reports Assist with entity management across the firm
Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in accounting, CPA and/or MBA highly preferred 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within asset management, private equity, or financial services Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software (QuickBooks) or expense management software is a plus (EAS Integridata)
Compensation:
Salary:
$125,000 – $165,000, Plus Bonus
